Drinks and Recipes

We've included some recipes that we think you'll love. Make sure you include White Christmas Rum and Brandy whenever possible*. If you you have a recipe that you would like to share please post it on our blog (coming soon).

Eggnog (Our Favorite)

Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
1 pint whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 1/2 ounces White Christmas Rum and Brandy
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
4 egg whites

In the bowl of a stand mixer beat together the egg yolks and 1/3 cup sugar until the yolks lighten in color and the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, White Christmas Rum and Brandy, and nutmeg and stir to combine.

Place the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat to soft peaks. With the mixer still running gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the mixture. Chill and serve.

Makes 6 cups

Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
2 cups light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Pinch ground cloves
Pinch salt
White Christmas Rum and Brandy
Boiling water
Nutmeg

In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Refrigerate until almost firm. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture into 12 small mugs. Pour about 3 ounces of White Christmas Rum and Brandy into each mug (filling about halfway). Top with boiling water (to fill the remaining half), stir well, and serve immediately.

Makes 10 to 12 servings

Eggnog (Baltimore Eggnog)

Ingredients:
12 eggs, separated
2 cups superfine sugar
1 pint brandy
1 pint White Christmas Rum and Brandy
3 pints milk
1 pint heavy cream
Nutmeg

Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until thick. Slowly stir in the brandy, rum, peach brandy, milk and cream. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled and pour into a punch bowl. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold gently into the eggnog. Grate a little nutmeg on top and serve in 4-ounce punch glasses.

Makes 30 servings

Tom and Jerrys'

Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. regular sugar
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. powdered milk
6 eggs

2 ounces of White Christmas Rum and Brandy

Separate eggs, mix sugar and milk. Beat yolks, add 1/2 of sugar mix slowly, until lemony color.
Beat egg whites stiff, add rest of sugar, mix slowly. Beat well. Fold the whites into the yolks.

Using 1 ounce rum and 1 ounce brandy into coffee mug, adding hot water. Top with 1 large tablespoon Tom and Jerry mix, sprinkle nutmeg on top. Enjoy!!

Makes roughly 1 cup

Hot Toddy

Ingredients:
1 oz White Christmas Rum and Brandy
1 Tbsp honey
1/4 lemon
1 cup hot water
1 tea bag (your choice)

Coat the bottom of a mug or an Irish coffee glass with honey. Add the liquor and the juice of the lemon quarter. On the side, heat water in a tea kettle and add the tea bag to make hot tea. Pour the steaming tea into the glass and stir.

Makes roughly 1 cup
